Up Exstinction

Late summer while I was working in my flower beds, transplanting, pulling weeds, landscaping and gardening, My cell phone kept ringing, every time I tried to answer it cut off. To my amazement it was Tony walker, who I had not heard from for many years. The last time I remember talking to him was when he quit, red bud thunder right after we had recorded American rock & roll. Our management, was in the process off setting up new recording dates and a tour with us opening up a few shows for 38 special. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control everything went into a different direction. So as you can imagine I was very surprised to here from him! Said he had seen a Red Bud Thunder web site , Jim Momaly at Broken Frog Studio had put up for me. He asked me what I was doing? We, had just finished a project, kind of a metal punk thing, and I was getting ready to start a knew project. Since I had seen Tony last he had a stroke, and had lost a lot of use of his right side. He was also confined to a wheel chair and wasn’t playing anymore. He invited me over. His guitars and such, were lying around. And after talking to him for awhile, decided we might be able to jam some .We started in the key of E. He couldn’t play rhythm any more, but if he cranked it up, He could still play lead and sing. After a few months, things started to happen. One thing led to another, and before we knew it we had recorded a lot of songs. So we had copyrights and all that pain in the ass stuff, taken care of. Next thing you know we got a couple of record offers from la. What they offered we could do for ourselves, with the new technology, that is available these days. You can find these songs on, Napster, I tunes & Amazon. Also they are on My space. As it is, life is constantly moving for me, it was time for me to move on to new and better projects. my life is a series of projects. One day at a time. I have several new songs coming out this summer. They will be available, on htttp://www.musicextraordinaire.com, mid summer 2010.
